    Horgen is a charming little village, lovely to walk around.

    Horgen is a charming little village, lovely to walk around. It has a quaint centre and a beautiful waterfront. Easy travel into Zurich by train. Easy travel to mountains and skiing by train or car. Good supermarkets with good opening hours. We didn’t try the restaurants as we were visiting relatives but we did get a great takeaway - burritos. You can even swim in Lake Zurich by walking down to the waterside at various points. Great.

    Perfect location in the picturesque village, a short downhill walk to the station, shops, and the lake. Very friendly and helpful staff, peaceful and relaxing atmosphere in this historic hotel. Lovely outside seating area where you can enjoy a drink in the sunshine, accompanied by the church bells. Attractive bar and restaurant area, plenty of choice at breakfast. Good sized bedroom and comfortable bed. We always look forward to staying at the Schwan!

    If you want a great location near Zürich with a very friendly and helpful owner than look no further !! The room was very big, sparkle clean and very comfortable large bed with a great view over the lake Zürich. Bus stop @ 200m and great connection from and to Zürich airport. Thank you Esther for making me feel home ! You are an amazing host! I will for sure use your accommodation when back in Zürich!

    This unpretentious hotel offers quiet rooms with lake views and a decent breakfast at hard to beat rates. The host is agreeable and flexible, arranging for late arrivals thanks to a key lockbox. Horgen can very easily be reached by S-Bahn from Zurich, and there are busses to the station 2x/hour passing right in front of the hotel.

    The place is fine if you just need a place to sleep and have breakfast near Zürich for work and have a car to move around. It is closed to the lake and a 10 min walk from Horgen train station. The breakfast was good and it was clean.

    The ability to make my own breakfast was what made me choose the appartment instead of a regular hotel:-) Location's close to the lake and to the station with trains and buses, I found the location great.

    It’s in a great location, right opposite the train station (Horgen) and the rail system is pretty easy to use. You can also get buses just outside. The internal decor is also beautiful.
