Very helpful staff. I lost something and they helped call to retrieve it and called me when it had been found. Clean room (although the see-through glass partition from bathroom to bed was odd, it did have a curtain, though)

I read other reviews. Some people are saying they had to pay for the shuttle bus. I had a rented car which I returned to the airport the evening before I left Zurich. I was able to take the shuttle back to the hotel for free. I had an appointment to return to the airport in the morning for my flight, owhich was also free and easy. Rumlang is reasonably close to both, the airport and the Hauptbahnhof - the main railway station. It scores on this the most. However, it does not have many eating-out spots, and it is best advised to go to the main railway station and then eat out there.

A tidy town that has nothing open after lunch on Saturday until Monday. And, that’s right, we were there on Sunday. We therefore enjoyed MacDonalds and Subway. Very disappointed that there was nothing Swiss to have.

Convenient to the airport and 2 good italian restaurants within walking distance of the hotels prior to departure or evening meal. Also has Maccas and a few other fast food outlets close by plus Aldi for a few departure beers, chips, nuts and purchase of forgotten travel items. Most hotels are Very close to the station of Rumlang for trips to the city of Zurich and great place to be for catching a train to Zurich Hauptbahnhof for connections to the train network of Switzerland .

I travel with a service dog and the staff was super helpful at the front desk and during the entire stay. When the shuttle driver refused to take a dog without a crate (he was not very friendly), the manager of the hotel (I believe he was called "Herr Max"), drove me in the company car to the airport.
