I booked the hotel in Uzwil to use it as a “hub” for further visits by car to many historic and cultural sights in the eastern part of Switzerland, Lichtenstein and southern Germany (St.Gallen, Winterthur, Stein am Rhein, Zurich, Appenzell, Konstanz, etc.). From this point of view the choice of this hotel in the small town of Uzwil was right. Uzwil is a small town/village. There are no special attractions. It was difficult to navigate because of the major extensive road works in the area around the Hotel Uzwil. Hotel's restaurant is fine but quite overpriced. Fortunately there is an excellent restaurant "Freudenberg" at a distance of 600 meters (you need to climb up to the hill). Coop and Migros restaurants are just nearby.

A small town/village between Zuruch and St. Gallen. Perfect for business stay in this area. Has a train station and is well connectrd with other cities. It has a good 4star hotel for business stay.

The rooms are quite big, very clean and hospitable. We also tried the hotel’s restaurant which is worth a stop. Parking is available around the hotel, and they also offer and EV charging station.
