Very clean and the room was very comfortable (huge bed, super comfortable). I was supposed to stay in a caban but it was so hot I switched to a private room with AC. The pool was nice and the common area is nice; right in front of the beach. super quiet and a good place to relax.

The location was absolutely wonderful and our host Michael was very helpful and responsive from the get go. The breakfast (arepas with scrambled eggs and coffee) was always amazing. We had a transportation organised with the hostel, you can pay for this by card for an extra fee.

Guachaca was a nice tiny village to stay in with proximity...
Guachaca was a nice tiny village to stay in with proximity to both Buritaca and Costeño beaches and Tayrona park. It's easy to catch the bus to take you along the main road to these other towns and some hikes. You can swim in the Guachaca river and there is a hike up to a waterfall on the river as well, Cascada Saltillo.

Were a few bad storms during our stay . But that did not deter us . All in all I would rate everything a perfect 10 . The Beach was almost private and and great diving in and out of high waves .Thank you to all the Staff at playa Pikua for making our holiday truly amazing .

Fabulous private beach houses just next to the sea.
Fabulous private beach houses just next to the sea. Lovely breakfasts served on your veranda and you can order dinner served either to your veranda or the communal area where we were the only people. The food is delicious, fresh fish cooked to order. We loved the relaxed feel of the place and the manager Andres is super kind and helpful.
