We stayed one night in mid-September 2023. We had the ground floor apartment. The apartment is very nice. The bedroom is separate from the dining and living room. The hotel is completely self service — is no onsite staff other than the housekeeper in the morning. The system worked flawlessly for checking and checkout. The owner allowed us to park our tandem bike in the attached garage which we really appreciated. The location is next door to a nice bakery and across the street from a small but very nice grocery store. We walked to to the Greek restaurant for dinner. It is also excellent. All in all, a great place to stay when in the Alt Duvenstedt area or passing through.

Lovely breakfast. Nice building ensemble with a cozy courtyard (though we were there in February). The owner has a separate restaurant and bar as well. Both are well worth visiting! Perfect for a weekend getaway! Theater, museums, walking along the Nord-Ost Kanal.
