The hotel is located in the perfect spot, close to the train station and on the edge of the Alt Stadt. The hotel is an old Bavarian building with modern bathrooms and furniture. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast which was included in the hotel price was good with delicious coffee. We were on a bicycle tour while staying there. The staff provided us excellent bicycle storage within the building.

The rooftop bar was excellent as well, with wonderful cocktails offered along with a 360 view of the city. I also enjoyed my spa time, also located on the rooftop. The location is close to everything. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

You can walk to shops, restaurants, cafes and historical sights. Service was top notch and the prison vibe was just right....interesting but not too cheesy. This was my second visit and will be my accommodation of choice next time I am in Amberg.
