Beautiful location, great views all around. Very comfortable rooms, excellent food, a lot of loving detail. We were a family group which had booked three bedrooms and the owner gave us deliberately one bigger room with two sofas, so we could sit together in the evening.

The room was commodious, Bed is inconveniently soft. Window looked to the very close (10 m) cliff. For some extra payment you may have a room with river view, that is really nice. Breakfast was good, with wide selections. The town is small you may get to nearly anywhere on foot.
These apartments are situated in a historic building near the centre of Bad Ems, just 200 metres from the spa park and the River Lahn.

Lovely space, bedroom and separate sitting room, in an old building. Easy walking to restaurants and to Emser Spa. Large bathroom, which was to be shared but we did not see any other guests while there. Secure garage to store bikes.

Very nice: ancient, historic buildings, very green and garden-rich surrounding, a lot of benches to sit down and enjoy the view on lovely river Lahn.
Not so nice: the « heart » of the village called Roemerstrasse shows a lot of closed shops/empty spaces, conveying a bit the « look & feel of a ghosttown ». That was very much different in former times when it was pulsating with a lot of boutiques and other shops.

Bad ems is a very quiet and pretty town, it is very traditional with lots of traditional restaurants in the area. Lovely area to walk around and very quiet and peaceful at night time. People are mostly friendly and say hello when walking by. Worth a visit up the cable car, the view from the top is outstanding. At the weekend you can hire a paddle boat and paddle on the river Lahn. The hot spring is a very cool and has some fantastic history behind it.Overall I found it a very relaxing place to visit

This was an out of place in the hills, but delightful.
This was an out of place in the hills, but delightful. It being a small village with a camping ground at the river. The place was excellent, well maintained, very clean and best of all a large bedroom and very quiet area. An absolute delight, would have loved to stay longer. There were eateries around the area, however this day was a holiday and the only place to eat was at the camping ground restuarant. It was superb food using local ingredients and was certainly utilised by the locals and the camping community. Well worth a visit.

Cute and with a special flair.
Cute and with a special flair. Absolutely worth seeing.Interesting architecture from the imperial era. And if you have imagination you can still imagine the european princes and their entourage at the end of the 20th century strolling.
The price performance is unbeatable. My room was clean, the bed was comfortable. The room is no longer new but completely okay and excellent for the price. The breakfast was simple but delicious. There were crispy rolls from the bakery and I could even make one for the hike. The lady at the front desk (who also runs the hotel) has an absolute passion for her work and is super nice and helpful. It was really nice. Thank you.
The hotel is very, very pleasant. The location close to the river and to the ‘wanderpromenade’ is beautiful. The rooms are exciting, we were offered a breathtaking room with beautiful decorations on the ceiling and on the walls. Everything has been given a lot of artistic attention. And the bed is immens, it allows the guest to sleep well.
Everything is just like at pictures.
Bed and sofa were comfy.
Spacious.
Lovely host.
Great location - railroad, bus stops, river, shop, spa, everything is close.
Nice view.
Coffee machine was an amazing addition.
Adorable sugar shapes 😀
Cozy terrace.
Clean.
No problems with shower, hot water.
Clean room and bed with a good shower, the hotel was easy to find, but parking was a bit of a wander to get a spot, breakfast was good. The only issue was nothing being open for eating ( we arrived about 5 ) and there was nothing at all, so a car ride about 15 K was required to get something
It’s a beautiful appartement.
We liked the fully equipped kitchen to prepare our meals.
The little balcony with park view would have been enjoyable but we had a rainy weekend.
There was a problem with power when we arrived but a technician came by same day.
The view from the hotel was beautiful and the situation was quiet and restful. The terrace enhanced the outlook.
Breakfast was excellent everything fresh and beautifully set out. The staff serving us were very helpful and attentive.
The hotel is next to the river so you can enjoy the river view in your room and also when you are in the thermal bath and in the panoramic sauna, you still can see that view. It feels like you connect to nature. It is so relaxing.
Very comfortable and well equipped apartment. Perfect even for the long stay . The nice balcony was agrea5 place to have a breakfast with a river view. Parking near by was an additional benefit.
really good hotel, big room with clean accommodation plus very lovely couple they talk English and German , thanks again!
