Beautiful, comfortable and spacious room, worthy of 4 or 5 stars rather than 3, exceptional service and extremely friendly staff, nice location and views, very well-maintained and tasteful facilities, excellent breakfast (including the coffee), and to top it off a delicious dinner at the restaurant next door. I would highly recommend this place to anyone seeking an invigorating getaway in nature, but also families with smaller children, as there is lots to do for them right outside the hotel.

The centre of Bad Marienberg was close by, with lots of restaurants, grocery stores as well as a variety of short hiking routes nearby. The room had everything we needed (except maybe a kettle - but we simply used a pot to boil water instead). We really enjoyed the bathroom with the new rain shower as well. The building was very quiet too, we didn't often hear the guests in the other rooms.JessicaNetherlands

Play den a hit with the kids. Accommodated our need to store luggage beyond check out while we organised a hire car. Beautiful location.
