Beautiful, quiet area. Nice hotel. I wish that the hotel provided a written guide to the hotel amenities. I had no idea that there was a choice of Restaurants, no idea where the Pool was! No information was given at check--in. No information was available in the room. The village was nice and Freudenstadt was easy to get to and explore. I wasn't there for activity, only for rest and the Traube Tonbach was good but Interaction of Rezeption Staff was poor. I didn't feel very welcome there.FrankIreland - 10Scored 10
I was visiting friends; we either walked or they drove me...
I was visiting friends; we either walked or they drove me everywhere, but Baiersbronn seems to have good bus and train service; I don't think a car is needed to enjoy the area. It offers gorgeous views and many wonderful paths. We visited the Mummelsee one day and the Buhlbach glass museum another. That day we ate at the Forellen Hof there and combined with a walk through the forest, overlooking the valley, that was a great outing.MichelleUnited States

Apparently reception is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays - there is a note on the door stating this in German - we are English and can’t read German ! After 30 minutes of no access we were about to leave when another guest staying there turned up and told us to go to the restaurant next door which we did - just be aware . Hotel is old fashioned but well equipped and clean - breakfast was very good and staff pleasant .
