It is very cosy, modern but in a warm style. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Their “living room” with coffee and tea available all day is a great alternative to spending cold and wet days in the town’s two cafes.

The town was pretty and picturesque.
The town was pretty and picturesque. The castle was what most folks think of as a castle; very pleasing on the eye. The half-timbered houses in the old town and within the castle "door" were very nice. The restaurants available nearby were fairly pricy. If you go, check out the restaurant at the local golf club. The food quality and choice was excellent and reasonably priced, but you need a car to get to it.
