Immediate access to the Nationalpark with its forests.
Immediate access to the Nationalpark with its forests. The park has signposted walks, cycle tracks, tours etc etc. There are so many things to do and so many places to visit in this part of the Eifel. Places like Bad Muenstereifel are very impressive. But also Kommern Open Air Museum, or Hellenthal Animal Park. Also Cologne and Aachen, even the Moselle are easily visited in a day. Gemuend itself is big enough to have a Netto Supermarket (more in neighbouring town 6 km away), and a number of decent cafes and restaurants and a few other shops and facilities.
