If you come with kids they will have some small present for them to cheer them up! Breakfast is really good. Parking is free and available on the back. Rooms are big enough although do not expect top-notch facilities, this is a family run traditional hotel so sometimes it might show it age - but it is quite charming nevertheless. Would love to come back

Parking is free for the guests and there are quite a few places available. The hotel is easily accessible from A4 for a sleep-over while travelling and Georgenthal is a beautiful little town worth a visit on its own.

For breakfast, you can find food for every taste. There is even gluten-free and lactose-free food, but I advise you to warn the hotel about this concern in advance. Small sweet gifts are also very nice signs of attention.

Probably the biggest breakfast buffet I've ever seen! And fantastic hosts - friendly, welcoming, chatty, couldn't do enough for us.
