The location of the hotel made it impossible to have a good look around and we were quite far from the Rhine. I would not stay for more than one night - use the hotel merely as a place to sleep en route...

There was no train or bus. There is a very nice footpath through the vineyards. From the train station to to the hotel is 3.25km. Uphill to the hotel. I was at a very anxiety ridden conference and the walk was hugely appreciated.

The hotel staff was very helpful, the hotel is in central location, the room was spotless and well appointed. I believe there was an "honesty bar" in a reception area, which is always so nice to see ( I didn't use it, but I like the concept!). Will definitely return.

In addition, the Bismarckturm is just next to the hotel, with another superb view from the top. The room was good, I like especially the terrasse outside with a table and two chairs, to enjoy the scenerie. Breakfast is good.
