The entire staff was extremely friendly. I needed to stay one extra night and management made this happen. This is a family ran business. I highly recommend everyone to stay here. Breakfast was outstanding. Service was best I have ever received. If ever in this area there is only one place I will stay from this point forward. Plus they have a gated place for bike riders. Fantastic

Lieser belongs to the Verbandsgemeinde of Bernkastel-Kues,...
Lieser belongs to the Verbandsgemeinde of Bernkastel-Kues, whose seat is in the like-named town. It lies on the Middle Moselle and is named after the river Lieserbach, which empties into the Moselle west of Lieser. The village is shaped like an upside-down T (when viewed from the south) as many houses have been built below the vineyards, along the Moselle's bank. The older part of the lower village exhibits tight terraced housing development with vineyards lying behind, owing to the intensive winegrowing. Rising up over the village is the Late Baroque Saint Peter's Parish Church (Pfarrkirche St. Peter)

I loved this house and the location.
I loved this house and the location. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. We had designated parking, although I wish it was a bit closer. I also wish that there were more comfortable sofa in the living room for when our family wanted to watch tv in the evening. The tv was nice because we could log into our Netflix account to watch movies. The house was so spacious there was lots of room for our family to spread out. I would have a few more rugs to keep the place a little warmer and cosier. I would recommend this stay it was perfect for our family.
It is an amazing hotel , very well located on the river Mosel. Very friendly staff, with the check in they serve you a glass of Sekt. The restaurant is classy with some adventures on the menu and a great selection of open Mosel wines.
The spa and pool area - plus the gym are super clean and well equiped. You feel like a royal, the red carpet rolled out.
Management is super organised and keeps the hotel smoothly running.
All with all super comfy, lot of international guests, but still the germany hospitality is there.
This was one of the most beautiful hotels I have stayed in in the entire world! The room was spectacular- the decor, the enormous size of the room and bathroom. The river view room with gorgeous windows that open was fantastic. The restaurant and bar were both beautiful. The location of the hotel was convenient to travel to and from with convenient parking for our rental car. I can't say enough good things about this hotel. What a romantic place to celebrate our anniversary !!
Great location. Staff was uberfriendly and helpful. It isn't the most modern or stylish hotel but it's clean, good beds, spacious rooms, location is excellent, great breakfast, private parking space, quite and a great shower. Great value for money.
I was offered to take the breakfast to my room the evening before because I wanted to leave the moment I woke up. Great service!
I assume they have great wines but didn't have the chance to taste them.
This hotel just knocks it out of the park! Service is terrific, food is fabulous , the spa is great too! We were there for 4 nights over the Christmas holidays and we never went anywhere else during g our stay. The renovation a few years ago was the perfect blend of modern amenities yet preserving the classic charm of a castle of this vintage
None of us wanted to leave! Can't recommend it enough...
The owner/hostess was great. The evening meal and the breakfast good. The location in a Moselle River town was beautiful (a stone's throw from the river) and relaxing. A clean room, good shower/ bed/night's sleep, and fine food--what more can a weary traveler ask for? Would definitely stay here again. A perfect place to avoid the all-modern big chain hotels--a real feel for the countryside.
The staff was very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The hotel, room, and facilities are stunning, as is the view of the river. The breakfast was superb. The swimming pool and spa area are the cleanest and best I've ever seen at any hotel or resort. The choice of different types of saunas (steam, infrared, etc.) is amazing.
We lived in a very modern and clean one-room appartment, which has enough space for a couple. The terrace was really cosy and we did our own winetasting with deliciuos Sybille Kuntz’s riesling. Lieser is a small village, so make sure to book your restaurants and winetastings in advance. We will for sure come again!!
We really did feel like royalty staying at this hotel! The property is gorgeous and our room was spectacular! Breakfast had so many choices and the food at the restaurant was outstanding. I couldn't have found a more perfect place to experience an exquisite overnight stay!
The property is in a good location in Lieser. The honesty wine fridge and bbq in the communal area/on the terrace were definite highlights.
The upstairs apartments are slightly bigger and therefore preferable.
Everything about the hotel was lovely. The room was amazing. I liked that. There was a nice coffee, machine and coffee. The bathroom was spacious and the tub was amazing. The breakfast was something very good!
It was my husband's birthday when we arrived and the staff promptly prepared a small cake in the room to celebrate - it was very nice of the staff! The hotel is also dog friendly and our dog enjoyed the stay.
It's just perfect 5 star hotel with an amazing view to the river and great spa. I highly recommend to taste the local wine. We will definitely come back.
