This was second time we stayed in this hotel. We satisfied and comfortable in the previous that was why we stayed here again. This time it was less satisfied , because we stayed in the old building (tripple room). The room was still spacious and it was fine for staying for 1 night before early flight.
The taxi fare from hotel to airport was 45 Euro, but we did not use taxi. We went to the airport by train (RE33) and connect the bus 635 at Friesing, costing only 3.9 Euro per person. The bus run every 10 minute.
Pension zur Schmied'n is set in Marzling, 39 km from BMW Museum, 40 km from English Garden, as well as 41 km from Olympic Stadium.

We stayed here as we had an early flight out of Munich the next day and it was very close to the airport. The location was perfect and it was very quiet. It was very clean and had everything we needed for a picnic dinner, shower and bed.
Located between terminals 1 and 2 in Munich Airport, this grand hotel has a striking glass façade, a spa with pool and a 24-hour gym. Rooms feature large, soundproofed windows.

The room is pleasantly quiet and the location is within walking distance. At the reception I was warmly welcome.

The communication was excellent, before and during the stay. Sarah and Ali were very kind and helpful.
Ali was a receptionist and a shuttle driver at night. Very punctual. Shuttle costed 12 euro in each direction.
The room was spacious, quite and tidy clean, the mattress was hard and comfortable for me.
The bathroom was clean

Munich Snow storm an emergency situation. No trains 5 hours to get a taxi. I could not get a taxi or uber. Property not have a phone communication only through sms. God help us in emergency and any property that has zero phone communication should not be listed booking.com. I will never use booking.com again as they have no idea about these properties.A 76 years old woman spent night at airport.

A lovely town that's away from the crowds, but you can still access all types of interesting things nearby. Easy access to airport via shuttle bus provided by hotel. Accommodation provided great value for money with excellent food. Well worth being a little out of the way for. There's a great walking/cycling track down by the river that takes you safely to Freising where there is a lot on offer in shopping and sights. Train station with connections to everywhere is a 5 min walk from hotel. Google maps is accurate for finding this, but you need local knowledge to find the lovely walking track. Lots of people speak English well in Marzling and Freising.

I am a 76-year-old widow and was caught in the Munich Snow storm. There were no taxis or Ubers so I had no choice but to remain inside the terminal. This vendor knows I DID NOT SHOW UP and they do not take phone calls so I could not speak directly with anyone. I had to send a message but my phone charger also went off so sadly unable to get in touch. One would think this property in such an emergency would immediately open their telephone lines so one could call and speak with a human being,
Very uncomplicated hotel to stay. Well organized. Check in friendly and quick. Good place to stay to reach Munich airport. Room ok. Breakfast we didn`t take because of early leaving. Dinner we took in the Biergarten. Food ok. The waitress was doing her best but one person for all clients is under manned.
I have lived in Germany for over two years, and this was easily my favorite hotel I’ve stayed in. Staff was incredibly nice and helpful. The room was perfect and the hotels restaurant has some of the best German food I’ve ever had. Would recommend this hotel to anybody.
Very friendly and helpful. My rental car broke down so I had no way to get dinner. The owners made me a Pizza and brought it to my room along with beer. Best hotel experience of the entire trip. They did not even charge me for the pizza and beer!
Everything was good. Lovely gasthof, quiet in lovely surroundings. And the hotel has a lovely biergarten and a restaurant in a nice conservatory. The town is quaint and beautiful. Restaurant appears to be frequented by locals. Friendly staff.
We love staying at this property. The Biergarden has great food, the hotel is very traditional and beautiful. Room was very nice, bed mattresses were not comfortable at all. Perhaps the hotel should look into getting new mattresses?
It’s a very cute hotel with nice-looking restaurant and patio. (we didn’t eat any meals there) The room was clean with a large window looking out to the hotel’s lawn.
Nice hotel in a small town. Big rooms with good size bathroom. Everything is quite new and clean. Fast Wi-Fi. A lot of parking space. Staff is friendly and helpful.
We absolutely loved the food. We will be back just for that alone! On top of the great food, it was a nice hotel with WiFi, parking, and nice hotel roomy rooms.
