Located in a small town of Sennfeld on a river shore in a very picturesque scenery. Very well maintained with an authentical outlay and wooden stair case to the second floor. Big rooms with full size bathrooms, vintage style furniture, comfortable beds. Basic continental breakfast with real coffee on the good China table ware and vintage accessories and cutlery served in the in-house dining room. The dinning room also acts as a restaurant a couple of days in a week starting from Wednesday. Three minutes’ walk up the street one can find a nice bakery Bäckerei Dörr with fresh pastry, coffee and dairy products. For a choice of restaurants and shops it is better to drive 5 minutes to the town of Adelsheim.
The castle has a nice and big garden with fountain housing a herd of king size golden fish, some tables and benches to sit outdoor.
There is a lot of free parking places on the street and a couple in the garden.
The hotel is managed by a very friendly young couple. They are quite efficient and very pleasant to deal with.
A lovely hotel, good restaurant and they had decaffeinated coffee and oat or soya milk. A lovely room in the new extension, new from the last time we stayed here, and the staff were all very friendly.
