Visited Mohnesee on a motorcycle tour and to visit the Mohne...
Visited Mohnesee on a motorcycle tour and to visit the Mohne Dam, scene of the Dambusters Operation from WWII. Wonderful roads and scenery in the area, enhanced by the colour of the leaves just starting to turn. We were blessed with good weather and huge blue skies which added to the Autumnal atmosphere. Our accommodation, Hotel Forsthaus, far exceeded our expectations, with a slightly elevated position on the lakeside giving magnificent views out over the lake. The food, drink and hospitality extended by our host were first class. I would love to visit again,although for longer next time.SimonUnited Kingdom

The hosts were really kind. The apartment was comfortable and complete. We booked the studio, but were offered the larger apartment, which was really great with separate bed- and livingroom. All you need is there. Dog friendly. Beautiful garden and views too!
