Three of us were stuck in Munich because of the snow shutting down Munich airport for 2 days. Hotels in Munich were $400 and up so I found this place online that was about 30 minutes outside of Munich. It was a GREAT find!!!

The location is great if you have a car, not so if you depend on transport. It is a village of Puchheim is just outside of Munich. Behind the hotel is a beautiful hiking/jogging trail through the woods of the Parsberg hill and to the Germering lake. The price was good for a hotel that is so relatively close to Munich, there is a train station near by, so it's easy to get to and from Munich if that's why you're there.

It is located near a a beautyfull field. The bearkfast is just as you would want it to be. We actually felt at ease here and hope we’ll come back. It is at about 20-25min, by car, to Munchen, but of course, it depends on the traffic that day. The is a generous parking lot at the propriety.
