Very quaite location, very old but very pleasant hotel.
This hotel lies in the Lauenburgische Seen nature park on a peninsula which makes up the centre of the town of Ratzeburg and separates the lovely Domsee and Küchensee lakes.

The rooms are much more comfortable as expected when we did enter the hotel.
There was a bit disappointment when we enter the hotel, because of the old fashioned style of the lobby, restaurant etc. But the rooms are actually pretty nice.

Beautiful location and great glamping accommodation in a barrel hut. Glass of wine on arrival so much appreciated. The bed was comfortable and we had such a good nights sleep because it was so quiet overnight. Opportunity to canoeing not taken up though we did walk part way around the lake. Really convenient if coming off the ferry in Travemunde. Parking available close to accommodation.

The staff/management were not communicative nor did they engage when we queried booking requests that were made. The hotel does not accept international credit cards despite the website saying that they do.
