The owner of the property was an angel when it comes to helpfulness and accommodating your needs. The bed was comfortable, extra pillows and blankets provided. Although parking was available at the site it was limited and we had to park on the street which is narrow. Breakfast which is incorporated in the cost was good with the provision of a number of cheeses and cut meats. There is an excellent restaurant for dinner (Italian) at the football club within an easy 7 minute walk. (No German restaurants in the area). The place is good and it served the desired need but a little far from Heidelberg, our main destination.

Walldorf is a sleepy little suburb of Heidelberg—nothing much to do there actually but very nice, clean, and quite. Heidelberg is only 10 min away so if you are looking for a relaxing place to stay and have the advantages of a bigger city nearby, Walldorf is the place. They have a nice city center and the people are very very friendly

A very calm and partially empty town, good for people who just want to go and relax without doing an activities.
No shopping Centers, not much restaurants and I'm not sure about the activities that could be done. I've stayed there for a week and had to go to heidelberg on weekends to find something to do or even people.
Everything was just perfect-from the check-in procedure to the rooms-to the restaurant- But most and foremost the staff. So friendly and warm-not what you would expect from Germans normally. This was really awesome. I am travelling the globe for work so I get the chance to stay in many many well known hotels-Hotel Vorfelder truly has a top spot on my list. Do not miss out to enjoy a nice dinner in their restaurant.Top quality and style best ingredients and an amazing choice of local and international wines.
This is a nice hotel where they cater for some extras (coffee and drinks available in room and free parking) as a compensation for the no staff situation. The breakfast was fresh and complete with nice and service minded staff.
The location is very nice located on the market with plenty restaurants close by.
I can imagine that the digital solutions might fit the frequent business visitor very well.
Nicely renovated spacious and comfortable rooms, super friendly and accommodating staff who brought a glass of wine on arrival! The breakfast was very complete with everything fresh placed on the table.
The hotel is within walking distance of the major restaurants and bars in town. The location is very quiet and there is enough parking space available.
I stayed in this hotel several times. Every room that I got was very clean and comfortable. It has everything that you need and whatever request or question you have, if you send an email or a message, you will receive a kind response and all the needed information in a short time.
The hotel is in the centre of town near many different restaurants (I recommend landgraf Basque). Inside the facility is very nice, clean and cosy. The room was big and comfortable.
Breakfast was great, with everything you could wish for.
Loved the hotel. The women in the front desk was very kind. The room is very comfortable and they give you the first products of the mini bar as courtesy. It is lovely! The breakfast is awesome.
My family stayed at Doernersches Haus on a nostalgic trip to Walldorf. It was a lovely haven in a beautiful town. Gorgeous old building with comfy bedding, tons of space, and wonderful ambiance.
Hotel's staff is very helpful and nice, always smiled. They also prepared and brought coffee to my table during breakfast.
Ability to open hotel's doors at evenings with room key was also nice.
Clean, spacious room and bath. Only 20 min walk to SAP and 5 min to Hauptstraße. Bus stop is in front of it.
And fresh breakfast buffet with all you need. Will come back for the next trip.
Nice hotel at a great location in the city center. The owner is very friendly and helpful.
Clean, large rooms (our even had a kitchen), complete breakfast, definitly will come back here!

Decent hotel for a stop when traveling through Germany not to far from the highway
Hotel is a bit old and needs refreshment
Beds/mastresses were too hard
Price was ok though
it’s really clean and everyone is really friendly. The lady from the reception was already in her bike, but she get back to hotel to make a hot water for baby formula.
Great hotel with private parking, had digital check-in but we were still warmly welcomed by an English-speaking staff. Good breakfast, semi-hard bed, soft pillows.
