Great place to see the paintings and sculptures of the artists who lived and worked in Worpswede. Small town with small hotels and restaurants offering a cozy atmosphere. The natural surroundings are stunning and accessible via well-maintained cycle and walking paths.

If you like art, you need to visit. Very pretty village / artists' colony with a variety of places to visit, art installations spread around town, lots of nice walking trails, good restaurants and cafes.

The hotel was absolutely brilliant.
The hotel was absolutely brilliant. I went for a concert at the music hall. The concert was fantastic and the music hall is great. Lovely cafes and art galleries. On top of everything else I had the chance to attend the opening of a photo exhibition at the "Galerie Altes Rathaus". This was great, too. Also many lovely shops with unusul things/presents to buy, open even on Sunday.

The centre of Worpswede can easily be reached on foot or by bike via quiet foot paths and roads or via a safe cycle path along the main road. Quiet and very friendly atmosphere, comfortable beds and large bathroom. Good city bikes can be hired for a small fee at the hotel. Nice terrace where tea and coffee are served in the afternoon.BeateBelgium

The area was perfect, slightly of the road, which meant it was quiet. An Aldi and a bakery are just across the road, and a Lidl a little further down the road. The small town is very accessible to walk around and explore. There are lots of great restaurants, we LOVED - Worpswede am Bahnhof. Bremen is just 30 mins drive away and worth a visit. Fully equipped kitchens and bathrooms made us feel at home straight away, and a lot of thought had clearly been put into making us feel welcome.
