Just a perfect little white town with views forever. A hikers' paradise. Dozens of trails to choose from. The thermal hot springs beside the river were very relaxing. It's a pity the Hotel Balneriao was closed.

I didn't have time to take a long walk along the river through the Natural Park, which looked beautiful from the town above. As for the town itself, to get in and see places, you have to take one of the guided tours; otherwise, you can't go into the historic buildings.

A nice town, recommended to us by friends. Easy access for a day trip to Granada which we did on one day. 2 small supermarkets for food shopping and plenty of restaurants to eat at. The town has an amazing gorge and was an interesting walk along the gorge.LucyUnited Kingdom

The place is decorated beautifully ánd exudes a traditional flamenco vibe with great artists flattering the walls and around the clock flamenco music playing. The outside terrace is a great place to chill and enjoy the beautiful view. We'd definitely return. Tip: do visit the Centro de Interpretación de Alhama de Granada for an incredible tour through the museum and history of the town.

Eating out options in the town were limited due to it being early April but If you like real Spain and want to stay in a comfy boutique hotel, then La Maroma is recommended.
