It was a great place and location when you are visiting the Picos the Europe. The hotel is in a small village, but has some cafes, restaurants, a small supermarket, pharmacy and bank, which are all just across the road. Also, when the weather is not great it helps when the hotel is bigger and has more facilities. The breakfast Buffett is generous, but make sure you ask the waitress for eggs or omelettes. We weren't told and so missed out.

Nice quiet hotel 5 min by car to the small lovely town of Cangas de Onis, and on the road to Covadonga sanctuary and lakes. This area of Asturias is really beautiful, so much greenery around! Breakfast was delicious and plenty of choice. The owner also makes homemade cakes, and I was able to try one of his pastels de calabacin, it was absolutely delicious!
Thank you for being so welcoming 😀

The hotel was pretty nice and the breakfast was really good
The hotel is in a beautiful location at the foot of the Picos mountains amidst farmland where traditional methods are still used and you can hear the music of the cows' bells as they graze the lush pasture. There is a cheese maker a short walk away where you can look at the dairy and buy their cheeses.. The bedroom was spacious and spotless. The evening meal included regional dishes. The staff were friendly and spoke enough English to get by. A beer in the evening on the veranda, overlooking the hills, was a highlight.
Beautiful, remote location. Stunning views. Large room including hydro bath. On site restaurant.
Walks in several directions from the hotel.
Staff extremely helpful when I felt unwell.
