The rooms were warm and comfortable. The beds were lovely. Water was hot and shower pressure was excellent. Gray area around the property for dog walking but watch out if you have a dog with a propensity for chasing rabbits!

We use Hostal Landhaus in El Molar as an overnight stop only - no sightseeing or shopping involved.
El Molar itself is easily accessible from the A1 motorway in either direction but, from the north, it helps to have local knowledge of the access road to the hostal.
Check with Google maps street view to get you through the car park behind the flats and onto the Landhaus parking area.
It was clean, comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It is situated perfectly along the E5 for those overnighting en route to / from the ferry ports of Santander and Bilbao.
The hotel has a bar which offers sandwiches and there are a few cafes and restaurants in town, around 15 minutes walk.
Excellent space, quirky property. Even a little balcony for if we go back when the weather is better.
Perfect for our trip to visit family nearby.
Amazing value for money.
We would definitely stay again.
El Molar is an interesting little town with the great bodegas for meals and drinks.
Hotel was easy to find from the motorway. Friendly greeting from the reception and easy access to the garage parking.
Room was large and comfortable and the air conditioning worked well against the August heat.
There were shops and restaurants close by.
Greeted at reception by Nicole who was very polite & helpful. The room was very clean as was the en suite with a roomy shower & clean towels. Bed was comfy with clean bedding. Having a lift to the hotel floors was a bonus. Good Wi Fi access.
Our room was lovely and most importantly, the bed was extremely comfortable! This can be quite rare while traveling in Europe. My sister in law is from El Molar and we will definitely stay here again when we return.
Practical location in El Molar which is an ideal spot if journeying back to Santander.
Restaurants in the Bodega area are definitely items worth a visit.
