We used the town for staging hikes in the beautiful National Park. Historic buildings and church add to the charm of this small mountain village. Other towns close by provided tourist info, restaurants and markets.

An attractive mountain village, now mostly holiday/second...
An attractive mountain village, now mostly holiday/second home accommodation, but a very productive vegetable allotment right in the middle. Very quiet and a lot of attractive short (<8km) walks on old packhorse tracks in the Val de Boi if you don't want the high stuff, or have a day with low cloud. We self catered but there are two good restaurants (try Hotel la Placa) and more in Boi (0.8km by track and field path). Good site for the higher routes in the west of Aiguestortes NP.Andrew SUnited Kingdom

Public parking is 2 mins by foot, full of free spots. - Cozy room and quite comfy bed, except for the blanket. - Bathroom was clean and freshly renovated - Breakfast was available for 15€, good choice of meat and cheese, well brewed coffee, but lack of hot food options

It is out of a storybook with beautifully restored historic buildings in Erill La Val and unbelievable views. The best was the terrace where we ate amazing locally-sourced meals.
