Perfect location as I was walking the Camino Finisterra and this is the endpoint. The single room despite being very small was good value. Breakfast was perfect small amounts of several things beautifully presented in the upstairs seated area overlooking the ocean. Bar staff were pleasant, helpful and efficient. The terrace is lovely

Finisterre was the culmination of a coastal camino from Porto to Santiago, and we thought it was worth it. We were lucky to have sunny mild days, spectacular views and interesting walking paths. I'm glad we extended our walk.

Beautiful old harbour town, full of history.

Beautiful old harbour town, full of history. The town is on the small side, so I would not spend more than two days there. Great walk to the near Lighthouse...sunsets are magical, don't miss them. At the lighthouse they have a restaurant and a bar too, From Finisterre you have a great view of the bay and there is a beautiful beach near-by. The town offers a lot of fish restaurants but I was not impressed with them. My suggestion is to get the car and to explore the other Capes in the Costa de la Muerte or to reach the other villages - less tourist orientated.

i visited after completing a Camino walk and was happy of a couple of days downtime. I visited the lighthouse at the cape to see the ‘end of the world’ and enjoyed a coffee while marvelling at the sight of the Atlantic Ocean stretching to the horizon; just magnificent!

We were only here for 1 night so more time to explore the local area would have been good. Friendly people and some interesting bars/restaurants. We had amazing food and the staff were lovely at Taberna Arco da Vella followed by a few late-night drinks at the Madrid-Berlin Bistro, serenaded by the opera-singing owner - great vibe :).

After completing the Camino Francais, I can't recommend Finisterre enough! A world away from.crowded beaches, and the perfect way to end a long, hot walk! The coaches from Santiago are air conditioned, and run promptly, several times a day. Drivers are very friendly and helpful. And only 7 Euros one way! Finisterre is full of fabulous bars, cafes and restaurants - from very simple to something for a special occasion. The beaches are so clean, and full of beautiful shells. The colours of the sand and water need no filters. Visiting at Easter added another dimension, and we loved the processions. Can't wait to return!

A two night visit to Finisterre is the right amount of time to get to know and enjoy this sea side town - walk to the end of the world and enjoy the spectacular sunset - there are some lovely beaches and a nice variety of restaurants in the town
