Frama is a small village, quiet and off the beaten track.
Frama is a small village, quiet and off the beaten track. It is within a few minutes drive of the local market town of Potes, and has good access to all of that the Picos d'Europa has to offer. Potes has a market on Mondays, and there are various tour companies that offer excursions, such as canoeing, 4x4 off road trips, quads, horse riding etc. The cable car of Fuente De is only 40 minutes, and will get you to the top of the mountain in 7 minutes.

Frama is extremely rural and quiet; probably more quiet because of the time of year. It is only a few miles from Potes where there are shops, restaurants and other attractions.
We drove into Potes each night for a meal and can certainly recommend Casa Cayo; service good, great atmosphere and meals excellent.
This is a mountainous area and therefore you are in the hands of the weather. We had a day of rain, but even low cloud can affect your visit to the Fuente De cable car (which is a must). It was low cloud when we went up but clear as a bell at the top.
