Beautiful and charming hotel in the heart of Icod. The location can't be beat. Walking distance to restaurants and a few shops. We had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The shower was wonderful with a rain shower head. Breakfast was exceptional that is laid out buffet style with eggs prepared for you if you wish. Wine, coffee, tea, water and a few snacks always available. They will prepare a picnic for you for a small fee should you need one for your day. Umbrellas and walking sticks also available for use. The staff is so friendly and helpful and goes out of their way to offer suggestions for things to do and to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Since the place is located quite high on the hill, there is a beautiful view from the terrace, Teide can be seen as well as part of northern coast with the ocean. Every morning the sun rises over the hill in distance. The place is quiet and peaceful. The hosts are very welcoming and friendly, they've even leave a bottle of water and wine for you in the apartment. Inside you'll find everything you need, even a hairdryer and a washing machine in the bathroom. I find the place most suitable for young couples, but it is only my opinion. Sidenote: I highly recommend Cafe Lekkery in Icod de los Vinos, one of a few rare places on the island where you can get a decent cappuccino and great pastry as a bonus.

The village of Genoves is built on a steep hill, and it would be better to have a car as climbing up to Las Nubes could be exhausting.
I also noted that you say the kitchen is shared on your website. This is not the case; each apartment has a private kitchen. The barbecue on the terrace appears to be for the use of all guests.
I used Las Nubes as a base to explore the north of the island, so I had breakfast each morning and one evening meal in the apartment throughout my three-day visit.
