There was a bit of confusion on where the apt was with the owner, and ended up with the wrong address and the right address again. Caused a fair bit of back and fourth, but the owner was great about getting us sorted in the end. Several things for future tenents, there is no uber and only two taxis in the town, plan to leverage your spanish if you need to book. Owner helps us book a taxi to airport for 90 euros.

The hospitality of the staff was exceptional.
The property has a lot of charm. It’s typical agricultural establishment when a friendly dogs and cats will follow you around. The room we stayed was very quiet, clean with simple decor.
Continental breakfast (included in the room price) was very satisfying. If you don’t feel like driving in the evening you can also book a dinner. Expect a simple, very tasteful home made food .

We spent two nights in Monistrol, and it takes all day to see the monastery. (I noticed in Barcelona that some tours offer a six hour visit there, counting travel time, and that's not enough.) This hostel is perfectly situated for visits to the Montserrat monastery. Clean and tidy, bar and restaurant available. number key access to property and room excellent. walk-able to both Cremella and the main train station, 1 stop only to Arei de Montserrat. both worth doing. Great start to hike up Monserrat.
Great start to hike up Monserrat. I tried finding food on a Sunday night and only found a bar open which treated me extremely poorly for having a limited spanish and asking for an english menu. It took almost 2 hours to be acknowledged and the staff were laughing at me. Not the best of towns to travel alone as an english speaker. My favourite place was the path to Montserrat, view of my window at the mountains and road to railway station. The most activities are walking, including mountain walking. Monistrol is quite, serene and pleasant town with beautiful vegetation. There are many beautiful flowers almost every garden. There are pleasant and friendly people with unaltered smiles. it's very pleasant place.

It's walking distance from Monistrol station. We arrived in the evening, with a buggy, and the flat was easy to find. There's a supermarket, a nice bar and a children's playground at 7 minutes from the flat. All in a lovely square at the end of a pretty walk.
