The apartment was pleasant at first sight. Tastefully furnished. Very clean. The host was very friendly and gave us all the necessary advice. The location is wonderful. A wonderful view of the sea. 10 minutes to the train station. The area is in zone 1, direct line to the city, to the main square. A good starting point to all sides of the city. The public transport here is perfectly arranged and the car was completely unnecessary for us. We parked it in front of the block and left it there. We were lucky that there was a free parking lot. However, the owner offered us parking in the garage for €10 per day, if we could not find a free parking space.
Everything was needed in the apartment: shampoos, soaps, dish towels, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee machine, toaster... in short, everything and more. The cupboard also contained oil, various vinegars, tea bags and some refills for the coffee machine. THE BEDS WERE THE BEST EVER. There is a shop around the corner, also a bakery. Basically everything was TOP. We'll be back here.

We were given free drinks and the bar tender was amazing! really enjoyed our drinks.
The overall stay was good, the location is fine and there are a lot of restaurants in that neighborhood but a bit far from most attractions. You will need to take the bus to get close to most attractions in the heart of Barcelona.

This is the second time I stayed at Travelodge poblenou. I really like the area. So near the sea and the walk is safe and really pleasant. Shops are close by. People are friendly and helpful. I'd recommend it anytime.
