The hotel is spectacular. everything was wonderful. The location ,the room ,the staff, the facilities .however there is a caution for those who have mobility issues as there are steps everywhere, steps to the room to the gym to the pool etc. if you decide to book I would suggest that you see if they can accommodate you with either a room with no steps or ones with minimal. we had probably one of the best rooms for that and there were 20 steps to our room There are railings everywhere so that is good the views from the outside dining area are wonderful and the grounds are expansive with lots of room to wander there’s a nice hiking trail nearby We found the food to be just fine and the menu to be 1950s old style with steak Diane etc. Also advise that the best time to travel there is in the spring or the fall as the hotel becomes very crowded in the summer and Spain is hot. the location and the facilities are wonderful though and we loved everything except you know the steps

It was all we could want: beautiful old building, friendly attentive service, a great location near the centre of town and only a 12 minute walk up to the castle … and then there’s the breakfast: FANTASTIC. Homemade preserves and cakes, big selection of meats and artisan cheeses, freshly made espresso coffee drinks, croissant.

The elegant Hotel Casamar overlooks the exclusive Costa Brava village of Llafranc. It is close to the beach, with free Wi-Fi access, a free towel service and free public parking nearby.

The location of this hotel is absolutely unbeatable. A few minutes walk from the beach, near great restaurants and free parking in the streets (although finding a spot was challenging in August). We loved the breakfast in the restaurant area every morning. Staff was super friendly and was always willing to help us out. Unfortunately we did not make a reservation for the restaurant so it was not possible to eat here anymore. Although that makes for a great reason to come back.

This is a family-run boutique hotel in the center of Begur. The boutqiue hotel and romantic restaurant are housed in a Colonial Palace dating from the 19th century.
