We arrived at 5.00pm and nothing was open, even for a drink, until 8.30! We left the car and taxied into Salamanca for the evening (about €10 each way) although there is a bus every hour outside the front of the hotel, which we had just missed, The receptionist (Alba) deserves a special mention as she was charming and very helpful. She was the only member of staff we saw that evening.

We were also lucky because it was very good weather, so we could fully enjoy it. I also like that it is so easy to park the car there and it is for free. The personnel is super friendly. It was not my first time in this hotel and it will not be the last, it has a very high ratio quality for money.AnaPortugal
