The owner, Jorge, was exceptionally kind and helpful. Habib spoke English very well and was most helpful. Location across the street from the river beachfront; it was lovely. Restaurant downstairs was convenient with decent food. Room with balcony was wonderful.

I visited the town because I was walking the spiritual route of the camino Santiago. I visited all of the main sites in under two hours, so if I had not booked a boat departure for the next morning, I would have kept walking instead of staying the night.

It is a very Spanish town with local facilities and population. Many pilgrims passing through but not a crowded place at this time of year (Late September _ October ) Great place to get away from the crowd.

Super nice town.
Super nice town. A lot of great options to sleep including camping sites. Same goes for restaurants and you also have a lot of beach options. You can cross the bridge and visit the island and the beaches over there as well. We went there following the spiritual variant along the Camino Portuguese and it was more than great plus you get to ride in a boat to Padront he next day and visit the mussle farms.SSaniBulgaria
