O Pereiro is a good place to stop if you are walking the Via de La Plata/Camino Sanbres, but beware as this hotel is in O Periero de Arriba and there is a steep climb from the Camino to the hotel. The bonus is a downhill walk to A Gudiña to start your next day. The hotel is new, everything works as it should and is incredibly clean - if slightly austere. The staff are superb, especially the manageress, and the restaurant serves good food at a very reasonable price and is therefore very popular. The beds are very comfortable, the bedrooms have space age heating and are well insulated from the restaurant and public areas so are quiet.

Nice spacious room, it was clean and comfortable. The owner was lovely and made us feel very welcome. The location is beautiful and so peaceful. There are a couple of bars within easy walking and a hotel restaurant about 3 miles away. Breakfast was simple but very nice.

The bed and the room was fairly big, they allowed pets
Breakfast was a beautifully laid out selection. Really nice quality.
The hotel is a stunning marriage between an old stone facade and a brutalist modern concrete steel & glass structure.
There really is virtually nothing nearby, so we dined in the hotel restaurant. I would rate it as ok, rather than good.
Wonderful hotel!! The staff (the two ladies at the reception when we arrived) where absolutely amazing; helpful, welcoming and very friendly. We came as “Pilgrims” on the Camino and they were interested in our journey and made our stay very special!
First of all the hotel itself looks very nice! we loved the architecture and the fact you can walk on the roof. For a stop during a Roadtrip the location is perfect next to the autobahn and you won’t hear any Noice inside the hotel.
Very nice hotel in the middle of nowhere. Beautiful architecture. We didn't have time to do the spa but it seems like a destination for locals to have a weekend scape. Staff is very helpful and nice.
The hotel was very convenient for the motorway. We had a very warm welcome from the lovely Portuguese lady. She was very "can do" and checked us in early. We had an enjoyable lunch.
A beautifully designed hotel and spa. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and went out of their way to provide advice and assistance. I also had an excellent massage.
