The owner was super helpful to me with organizing a hike and with baggage transfers. On top of that she cooks a tasty supper. Thank you. Highly recommend.

loved the stay - quite an experience! in a remote Spanish village in the mountain tops. great host giving a great Spainish culinary experience. I particularly loved the gelato he served. felt very welcome there and was one of my highlights to my Spanish adventure. if you’re reading this you must book!

Yegen is a beautiful Alpujarra white village on the side of a large mountain. It has far reaching views and you can even see the sea on a clear day. There are almond farms all around and the blossom was beautiful in January.
It feels rather like stepping back in time and is well worth a visit. Most places were shut while we were there as we arrived late on Sunday afternoon and left on Tuesday morning but I'm sure there are nice places to eat and drink at busier times. There are many footpaths in the area and it would be a great place to use as a base for hiking.
