Godby is full of opportunities for everyone, sports, hiking,...
Godby is full of opportunities for everyone, sports, hiking, cycling etc. Beautiful environment. Short distances in all directions to historic sites and impressive nature spots. In the east e.g. the fortress of Bomarsund with an excellent new information centre for visitors and the Kastelholm castle. In the west the legendary Eckero post and customs building. Thera are large apple tree farms close by. We enjoyed a fantastic performance of Puccini’s opera Tosca at the Stallhallen open air stage, organised by Aland Opera Festival.

The must-do is Stallhagen brewery's pub-restaurant and shop. One of the first new breweries in Finland when it opened in 2002 and doing very well. Traditional pub, traditional local food and good atmosphere.TimUnited Kingdom
