It's a historic treasure, a rare gem.
Host so welcoming, and house was kept warm in middle of winter. Breakfast was 3 variety of local bakes, and honey sourced locally. Coffee in bowl to have a feel of local culture. Definitely a must to feel the heart of Alet.

All the staff were very friendly and helpful. There’s a lovely relaxed vibe and while it’s a case, it’s not stuffy. Everything you need is there, courtyard, bar, restaurant. There is a supermarket and a bar 5mins walk away. Close to Rennes Le Chateau which is worth a visit to hear about the infamous priest Sangiere and Rennes Les Baines with its hot spring and nature walk is short drive away. The chateau has a great pool with plenty of beds, a tennis court and beautiful grounds. We had amazing meal and chef created great vegan options on the night. Special thanks to Xavier who gave great advise on things to do in the area for when we come back!

The apartment was quite nice but there were some things that put me off and I would not stay there again. The location was convenient to the town with its restaurants and bars (if you're game). There's a fridge, microwave, coffee pot and more in the room.
