Stayed here for one night on way back to UK from Spain.
Stayed here for one night on way back to UK from Spain. Accommodation basic but just what you need and clean staff friendly and very helpful. Would definitely stay again maybe more time next time to explore la Rochelle. Had a great night's sleep too parking great and my 2 little dogs made welcome too. Close to amenities restaurant and shops.

Loved Cote Ocean Resort - Angoulins has plenty of supermarkets (Carrefour, Lidl, Aldi) and a good commercial centre as well as restaurants, although the village itself seemed very quiet; Chatelaillon-Plage only a few mins drive (or c. 20 min walk) is a beautiful seaside town with restaurants; bars and casino - also a funfair & shops; especially liked 'Very Ouest 17' for bespoke casual clothing - T-shirts, hoodies, polos etc. - made on the premises, family-run business

It is about half-an hour from the beautiful, thriving city of La Rochelle, where parking can be a bit tricky at busy times. The campsite location itself was perfect, nestled amongst trees and shrubs and right next to a perfect little bay with a sandy beach where you can watch the sunset. The atmosphere was a mixture of families and young travellers but all perfectly educated in camping etiquette so friendly, relaxed and quiet. The cabin was a very good size. The only thing is we did not get sheets on our beds and had to retrieve them later, which caused a bit of disruption as we were late arrivals and the staff member blamed it on us, which was both unnecessary. We had not seen the option at booking.com on our mobile phone and anyway, what´s the point of blaming someone while on holiday? Also there was no dishwasher, or washing up liquid, which meant some of the dishes were not spotless. We found some spider webs on the porch´s woodwork and in the otherwise spotless bathroom -in the fan exhaust to be exact-.AAnonymous - 8.0Scored 8.0

Great rooms and well equipped kitchen as you can use it to cook your own meals. The Restaurant is ok for one night but no many healthier options available plus it takes ages to be served. I would recommend it to families with young children as it is safe and there are plenty of other children to play with.

The area itself is quite nice. A bit far from anything though. Nice beach and a lovely small restaurant on the beach front. The campsite la corniche was awful however. As still a Building site. Not much to do here, other than walking and going to the beach. Possibly cycling as well.GemmaUnited Kingdom

Everything was great , from the facilities to the menu of the restaurant (amazing breakfast and a super Chef for the dinner) . Perfect location, close to the beach . Bike available for rent .
