Friendly welcome - rustic charm in a historic setting. Could benefit from less steps for the older generation! Excellent dinner in glorious surroundings Very peaceful in a small village yet convenient for the motorway. We will return.

The proprietors were very welcoming and the dinner was excellent. It was also nice to have a traditional French breakfast served to you rather than the continual hopping up and down you get with the large buffets which seem to be standard in most hotels these days. Our room was lovely with all the old stone and beams and warm despite the first frost we have seen this winter. We will return.MichelleFrance

It was very interesting being surrounded by medieval history. The village is beautiful and peaceful and even provided us the opportunity to recharge our electric car, which was a great bonus. I would highly recommend this fascinating hotel, but not for those who have mobility issues, as there are lots of different levels. We look forward to returning again.

I feel this should be stated in advance by booking.com as this plays a large role in the planning of a journey by electric car.JoeriBelgium
