We were group of five touring on motorcycles. We are all in our sixties and seventies. The old farmhouse we stayed in was in a lovely setting in the grounds of a chateau in a rural area. It was clean and tidy and a nice building with some great features. The Lady was pleasant

I am going to start this review first by thanking the hotel and booking.com for accommodating us last minute when our booked accommodation turned out to be an empty building site. We received a warm welcome after a frustrating couple of hours, and we're accommodated in the annex which was a short, level, walk away. The village is small but the bar and restaurant were very busy and it was a lovely vibrant evening with incredible food and wine, great service and a relaxed atmosphere. We had our table for the whole evening and our orders came out steadily and all at the same time. Leaving us time to talk and enjoy the singer in the bar in the next room (divided by glass so very much felt part of the fun). It was lovely seeing families of three or four generations together having a great evening, babes in arms through to great grandparents.
The room was comfortable with plenty of sockets, air conditioning, and toilet seperate to shower room which is a great way to arrange an en suite.
The staff were fabulous, and afterwards I picked up a brochure and saw that it was family enterprise.
