What an amazing location. If you want to stay near the river, you can’t get closer! The room we stayed in was lovely, with everything one could need. It may not suit the taller members of the population due to low beams, but that’s not a concern of ours. The hosts are very welcoming. The dinner option was gratefully accepted and very much enjoyed.

Marie and Fred were lovely hosts, and extremely helpful. Marie loaned me a kettle to make hot drinks and plates and cutlery for our picnic evening meal which we enjoyed on the terrace. There are shared bathroom facilities, but it was not a problem. Also a few steps, so maybe not appropriate for those with mobility problems.
Excellent location on the side of the Loire. Two Restaurants 3km away.

Well equipped and maintained, Le Mouton is ideally situated for a stop-off between the Channel and points further South. It also offers a tranquil setting for a few days in the countryside, enjoying the Loire area. Our hosts couldn.t have been more welcoming and the food and wine were excellent
