We were just passing through. This was an apartment in a converted manor house. There was loads of space, cooking facilities, fridge etc. You could eat in or out as it had a nice garden. The manager was really helpful and very pleasant. It made a nice change from a hotel room. Bolbec is just a small town. It does have a supermarket but not much more.

We love it at Philippe's quirky chateau and stop over on our way to and from the family holidays in Bretagne. We love the mystery of the big house, the wonderful feel of the apartment with high ceiling and lots of original features from when this was a local textile factory owner's mansion. The garden is huge and feels great to spend time in. The pool was clean and great for our children to play in. The owner Philippe is a very friendly chap who speaks decent English - we felt welcome once again.

The location is remote and very quiet. We loved it there. In the morning we wandered a bit on the farm and played with the veals and admired the property. The interior of the guesthouse was nicely decorated and very very spacious, like the room was more than 20sqm. Also the hosts were nice and warm even though they don’t speak any English, the warmth got to us.
