The village has two bars one of which has just re-opened after a stylish refurbishment and now does frites. The village also has a very good bakery open from 06:30 (buy a take away filled baguette to eat on the shuttle).

This was a really authentic stay with a local family.
This was a really authentic stay with a local family. They have several rooms, but we were made to feel special and their welcome could not have been warmer. We asked about a place to eat and the hostess recommended a place, and then she phoned for us and made a reservation. The evening became an experience in itself, with the most friendly of restauranteurs, who chatted to us between courses, which she cooked to order! We even ended up swapping recipes at the end of the evening!!
The hotel sits in beautifully kept grounds with a terrace for drinks. The evening meal was extremely good, as was the breakfast. For those with a sweet tooth the dessert trolley is to be admired. Although a little dated the decor was in keeping with the hotel and its era and is so traditionally french. The staff were helpful and friendly.
Plenty of parking at the hotel.
A good place to stay to relax before returning to the UK, the hotel being so close to the channel ports.
Lovely hotel either for an overnight or stay to explore the area. Staff couldn't have been more helpful. My dogs were made welcome and we had an ideal room with easy outside access. The evening meal and breakfast were delicious and particular effort was put in to provide me with gluten free options ( by far the best I have visited in France) Only 35 minutes from the Eurotunnel. Would definitely recommend this hotel
Attractive, well run hotel with an excellent restaurant, and plenty of parking, located in an attractive village fairly close to Calais and Dunkerque. Bollezeele has facilities including an Aldi grocery store and a petrol station. Dog friendly, with easy access to walks down quiet country side roads. I have stayed here a number of times, and it is my preferred stopover after an afternoon ferry from Dover.
Our stay was faultless. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome. The hotel is absolutely spotless. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed anywhere so clean and well maintained. Jack made our stay. He’s without doubt the most entertaining, knowledgeable and on the ball member of staff we’ve ever met. What a credit to a great hotel.
very interesting and unique property . It creaks in places ( but then again , at my age so do I !) . The staff are well trained, efficient and friendly . Without a doubt one of the main attractions is the restaurant. Excellent classic French food . For us a real plus is that the hotel is dog friendly and is why we have stayed several times .
Absolutely perfect location with plenty to see, something that I never have the privilege of in the UK. If I had the opportunity to stay another night then I sure would have loved too. The staff are very welcoming and helpful and overall absolutely fantastic value for money! Would 100% stay again when travelling to France for business. 🙂
Lovely looking hotel with nice grounds. A friendly welcome from the owner who spoke excellent English. Good if not spectacular room but it was what we expected. The real bonus was the outstanding menu in the excellent restaurant. Beautifully prepared food that was perfectly cooked. Would definitely stay here again if in the region.
We arrived in Bollezeele after a long rainy day on the bike. The staff were very friendly, we could store our bikes inside. The rooms were comfortable and clean. There is not much to do in the area but it was a great stop along the way. The restaurant was very good, we had a great dinner. Highly recommended as a stop along the way!
Lovely hotel on the way back to the ferry terminal.
Third time we have stayed there.
Good food in the restaurant in the evening and at breakfast in the morning.
