This hotel is right in the center of the pedestrian area of Espelette, so the location is perfect. The authentic Basque dinner was very good, and the waiter was terrific. The room was large and comfortable.

Eliene (I hope spelling correct), from the moment she received and welcomed us, made us feel comfortable and welcomed! And Bruno, who managed the front desk in the evening, was just as pleasant. Oh, and both spoke very good English, not that we expect all to speak English, but their ability to speak the language was a huge plus for us. Xavier or Xabi, restaurant staff, was just as nice and helpful--and speaks English very well, too! Oh, and Chef Philippe's squid or chippiron dish--I can have that dish daily!
