We went to supermarket in town to buy things for supper and breakfast. We did not cook, except to use kettle. Convenient location for our journey, but less rural than expected. Quiet, with no traffic noise. Brief visit in rain so we did not use garden but it was large.

This was a lovely place to stay. we would return if we could one day. The swimming pool was really good. Large enough to do some serious swimming and lovely warm water. The town is nice but it was Sunday and rather quiet. we found a good place to eat a short car ride away. Our room was very clean and comfy.

Forges les Eaux is a lovely town.
Forges les Eaux is a lovely town. There are beautiful walks around the lakes & countryside.
The only problem we found was nothing was open. It was very difficult to find somewhere to eat. The town had the feel of a place closed down at the end of the season.

Interesting small town in the Bray area with an interesting history. Has all the facilities you would need as a centre for a short holiday. Area around the Lake and the Casino is most unusual and very attractive.

I enjoyed everything. The beautiful building, airy bedroom, spotless clean bathroom, the great location in the centre of the village, the possibility to leave my bike in a secured storage. David is an exceptional host and he shared some stories about the village's history. I would definitely be back if in Forges-les-Eaux again.
The perfect place to stop on our way back to Calais and we would have been happy to stay longer. The room was simple but clean and comfortable, dinner imaginative and beautifully presented and the breakfast very generous. The hotel garden is spacious and quiet.
The town is lively and attractive, lots to explore.
There is very small cozy town. It was very easy to.find our hotel. Our hostess Bekka waited for us at 17.00 and was very friendly and hospitable.
A room has plain size, very clean
King size bed with good madras and comfortable pillows. Parking is free.
Even though I can barely speak French, there should be at least one person who has some English. Many hotels have people with some additional language knowledge. Charming place!
Location close to lac was lovely but property was extremely hard to find. Online it looks like a hotel but in reality its a private property and not at all well advertised.
Hotel was very pleasant, personal was very helpful and they truly take care of customers. The place is peaceful, it would have been wonderful to stay couple of days!
