For a family with children you have everything here, big garden with lots of animals to see , teras , in quite place , very comfortable and clean rooms. Not far from main attraction Mont Saint Michel. The hostess speaks French, Dutch , English which is perfect for every guest. She is very nice and welcoming. House has very nice vibe, my son enjoyed playing with the toys and reading books that was provided in the guest house. You can easily spend here all day and not feel the need to leave. We where able to cook ourselves dinner ,all facilities are on the spot. Included breakfast is top quality with local produce.

This home is lovely! An old barn converted into a warm, and cozy space with beautiful modern details. It was a chilly day, our hosts had a fire going when we arrived, we appreciated this warm welcome. We had plenty of firewood to keep our fire lit. We were given a tour of the house and offered many suggestions for area sights. The home was clean, spacious and very comfortable. The kitchen contained everything we needed to prepare our meals, oil, salt, spices, dishes, pots etc... Coffee and tea were available for breakfast. The baths, 3 showers and 3 toilettes all had soaps and shampoo. Heated towel racks are also available! It was nice to be able to control the temperature in our rooms. We had use of the washer/dryer and soap tabs were provided. This home is directly in town, a private gated yard has plenty of parking. A great bakery is across the street! Perfect location for sightseeing in Normandy. Our hosts also gave us some delicious local products to sample during our stay. The lost art of hospitality is alive and well in Gavray!! You will love your stay too.

This was a lovely gem recommended to us when our original booking fell through, and it was perfect for what we wanted- somewhere comfortable and quiet to relax during our trip. The owner was friendly and accommodating, the room was very spacious and comfortable, and breakfast was wonderful- enough food to get you going but not so much you want to go back to bed and sleep! The grounds were well kept and offered a number of areas for seating, all of which still felt private. The bed was harder than I personally prefer, but may be perfect for those who like a firmer mattress- definitely not a reason not to go back!
