The apartment is set in a rural area some distance away from the main road. This is one of the reasons it was selected as others have stated how quiet it was and this ensured a good night's sleep. Amenities are close by in the village or at Angerville 7 kilometres distance. Although compact, the owner has gone to lengths to ensure guests are comfortable and I'm sure it's appreciated. It is spotlessly clean and well equipped with a two hotplate stove, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, cooking equipment, and assorted crockery and cutlery. An under-bench refrigerator was handy for us.
The bathroom is small but modern with the shower having a disabled chair. The queen bed was very comfortable as were the pillows and doona. The bedroom could possibly be a bit stuffy due to lack of airflow and a fan has been provided to assist. The skylight can be left ajar or open if required.
This was used as an overnight stop after a seven hour drive with the next morning involving a 1 ½ hour journey to Charles de Gaulle airport. For us this apartment was idea for that purpose.

The apartment was very conducive. The hosts, OLIVIER and ANA, were amazing. They kept contact communication with me and ensured I located the apartment. On arrival, they kept lovely gifts for my three kids. I and my kids really enjoyed our stay in the apartment. The Bathroom and Toilet were superb, like 7star Hotel. The Apartment was very classic and beautiful. the location was a stone throw from the Train station like 3 to 5mins walk. We had a direct train movement from Etampes to Eiffel Tower.

The owner explained everything clearly, and was very quick to respond to messages. The duplex was very clean and well organised. The location was perfect.
When we arrived our car was broken.
It did'nt start.
We had to stay a day longer at the hotel.
Shalaudeen helpt us with everyting. He and his wife bring us extra food and bake some eggs.
In the evening Anthony maked for us a fine diner.

Had a very short stay here as it was a stopover on the way to the South and due to traffic didn’t arrive until 2am. This was no problem to them and as the hotel was just off the main road it was a perfect quick stop for us!
Overall the stay was very good. The restaurant was excellent and the breakfast was OK. The staff were incredibly helpful particularly when they needed to send us back a toy my daughter had left at the hotel.
Loved this hotel. Increasingly hard to find somewhere that feels independent in style and service, domaine Malar oozes French, including the very reasonably priced proper restaurant.
