No street or guest noise. Room was very small but very clean. Comfy, large bed and enough wardrobe space for a weekend away. Great location and friendly, helpful staff. Key system worked perfectly - first time using a QR code and we were a bit unsure how well it would work but didn't have a single problem with it. Screenshot of the QR works fine, too. Bottles of free water in the hall. Plugs on either side of the bed so we could both charge our phones .We both got in the tiny lift with 2 rucksacks. Was a squeeze but manageable.

The hotel is attractive, offers an excellent breakfast and is in an a central position, enabling easy access to major sites and access to stations. The staff were friendly, and extremely helpful. We enjoyed a great stay.

Lille is a lovely old city, full of gorgeous old buildings. The museums and art galleries are brilliant. The city is easy to walk and the public transport is clean and reliable. The people seem very nice.
