It was so peaceful and calm. My room was beautiful with access to its own private balcony overlooking the lake. I was able to park the car securely in the underground car park with lift access to all floors. The food was delicious and the staff were very helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay again.
Located on La Place des Landais, the Hotel de la Plage faces the central beach in Hossegor, an ocean-front town considered one of the best surfing locales in the world.

Brigitte was extremely helpful and an excellent host, for example we forgot to bring a power socket adapter and Brigitte went and bought one for us and future guests. The location is superb within pretty much equal walking distance of Hossegor town centre and the ocean. Breakfasts great and facilities excellent for the size hotel. The pool area great although sadly we didn't get to use the pool due to deteriorating weather.
Logis Lacotel is located opposite Hossegor sea-water lake and offers free parking and Wi-Fi. There is also an outdoor heated swimming pool, a bar and a restaurant.

Great location overlooking the lake. Very easy to walk our dog on the shore. Staff were very accomodating and the food was excellent. We arrived quite late and were very relieved to find the restaurant still open.

Centre Ville and le Lac are nice.
Centre Ville and le Lac are nice. It was very very quiet with not many places open to eat for the second week in April. It would be a great place to cycle around if the weather was not so bad. The preference is Biarittz.

We liked the ocean beaches best.
We liked the ocean beaches best. Super for surfing, walking, running or lounging.
Hossegor is very cyclist and pedestrian friendly and we never used the car once. There are some very pleasant trails around the lake and along the canal.
Hossegor centre is bustling with a melange of shops which will suit most pockets but the trend does seem upmarket - how many people can buy shoes for 600€??
The town has a nice vibe to it and there are many restaurants and bars serving a variety of food which caters to all tastes including vegetarians but some are a bit pricey. There are also bars down on Plage Centrale offering good meals if you are surfing or enjoying the beach.
No shortage of surf clubs for rental and tuition plus you can rent paddle boards, windsurfers and catamarans on the lake.
We came in late October when the weather was still warm enough to bathe and it was fairly quiet.

Hossegor is a treasure, a relaxing beach town on the Atlantic coast. A cross between '70s So. Cal beaches (clean, laid-back vibe) with a touch of Hamptons sophistication. Outdoor activities range from surfing, bike riding, SUP on the lake, hiking, golfing, etc. Culinary heaven: Les Halles, the summer food market, a wide-range of restaurants (cuisines & prices). Easy to drive and explore the Basque country, San Sebastián and the Landes coast. We are elated we stumbled upon Hossegor, we will continue to vacation in this lovely town.

Really nice beach and the inlet behind the sand dunes made for a nice walk. The houses in amongst the pines were really pretty. You can hire electric bikes with fat wheels in Capbreton.
Swimming in the sea isn't for the faint of heart though.

Hossegor is an awesome place to visit.
Hossegor is an awesome place to visit. I've been going there since back 2013 and I am just in love of the place.
You can do sport, shop, dine, go to the beach, surf.....
It's one of my favorite places in the world.
Great location between the lake and the sea and easy to walk to shops and restaurants in the evening without having to drive. Very homely, relaxed hotel with nice gardens to relax in with small pool. Self service breakfast with decent choice of food (croissant, cheese, ham, toast, boiled egg machine, yoghurts, fruit, cereals). Unlimited self service coffee and tea .
Basic rooms, but very comfortable.
Parking is on the grass verges opposite the hotel.
The staff was super friendly and helpful. The hotel is also away from the hustle and bustle of the busy tourist area but its right on the canal so restaurants, activities, etc are only a short jaunt away. The beach and lake are a short walk too. And the pool was nice to cool off. They also provided fans since France was experiencing a heat wave and there was no air conditioning. Truly enjoyed our stay here.
We stayed at Hotel Logis Lacotel for one night and that was certainly too short. A good hotel with a comfortable and spacious bed, nice balcony with a beautiful view and right at the beach at the lake and 10-15 min walking from the Atlantic ocean beach. Staff was very friendly and the restaurant very good.
A very pleasant surprise - traveling down the French Atlantic Coast - changing hotels each day - 202 is the best overall experience of 7 stays - not the cheapest but good value. Staff extremely pleasant - nice breakfast with a wide ranging buffet. Added it to my contacts list for next time.
Hotel is in a great location, by a lake and with restaurants and shops within walking distance. Our room was generous in size, the staff were very friendly, and the breakfast was well worth the money. If you are lucky you can park for free right outside the hotel.
Hotel 202 is a boutique, family-owned hotel; clean, modern and quiet. There's a lovely heated pool and a cocktail bar. The hotel has free parking, it's easy access to the beaches, the lake and the golf course. Good for both families and couples.
I can recommend this place to every one.
The rooms are nice and spacious and have everything you need.
The location is also very good. Close to Hossegor, Capbreton, The Lake...
The hosts are very friendly people, eager to help when needed.
The hotel is situated in a privileged place, the breakfast is great and the restaurant is top notch.
We got a very comfortable room with a superb view.
All the staff are very attentive and very kind.
We will certainly come back next year!
It’s a great place directly on a nice beach, restaurants are to find inside the same building. Nice stuff, clean rooms. Pets friendly - we traveled with two dogs/middle size ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ , just to pay 20 euro per dog. Anytime again👍🏻
Perfect location, right on a surf break. Great little hotel, lovely staff - very friendly and helpful. Rooms are super comfortable and the breakfast is gorgeous. Would definitely stay again
Fantastic property! On-site parking (call ahead to get a spot). Right on the water, very comfortable beds amd amazingly nice staff.
I was there for a wedding, it was a great place to stay.
Loved this hotel and it’s great position on the lac ! Beautiful… breakfast also very good shame they didn’t do dinner as found it difficult to locate a good restaurant nearby !
This hotel is perfectly located in Hossegor outside beach La Nord. Also restaurant La Nord I would highly recommend. A few restaurants you can walk to as well.
Perfect location really handy for beach and town would def stay again. Lovely helpful staff. We stayed with our dogs and they were made very welcome too.
