The town is nice and sleepy Has main facilities. We drove around to find a bar for a glass of wine but couldn’t find anywhere. It is however about 8 mins drive from major town. Didn’t stay long enough to get to know it.

Other than Futuroscope We didn’t visit anywhere else in the area. As it was low season and a Sunday, not all local restaurants were open. However, the couple that we did find open provided good food with friendly staff.

Large rainfall shower and separate roll top tub in the bedroom was magnificent! The host was really friendly and although she didn’t speak much English and we didn’t speak much French, we made it work! we arrived too late for dinner, but the host put together a cheese and meat platter for us and some wine and we had it in our room. Breakfast was waiting ready for us early the next morning. A really personal stay - just fantastic!

Very good breakfast with croissants and home made honey and jam. Old historic building renovated with charm. Due to intense rain the hotel was not accessible by car because the road was flooded. The first evening we could still reach the hotel by a pedestrian tunnel from the other side of the rail track. The next day there was 15 cm of water also in that tunnel. We called Sophie from the car and she brought us rubber boots to get to the hotel.AAnonymousNetherlands

She helped us in any questions and prepared tasty snacks and desserts for late arrival. there is a big space for parking and outdoor area for having a cup of coffee in the morning or to read the book near the river. The room is really big, atmospheric and comfortable. Bid attendance to decor details.OlenaUkraine
